Beauty Tips: Nails

Yesterday, I was asked to provide some tips for weak and soft nails.  Since this is my first request for a specific beauty tip, I thought I would provide a few extra tips today.

So here are some natural, easy remedies for nails.

Tips to Strengthen Nails:

  •  Massage warm olive oil into cuticles and nails two to three times a week.
  • Apply a paste of pressed garlic and oil to the nail bed and cuticle, let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Nails are susceptible to sun damage, so put sunscreen on your nails and cuticles too.
  • Break a Fish Oil Tablet or Vitamin E Tablet and massage directly on cuticles and nails.
  • Paint White (or clear) iodine directly on nails.
  • Add honey to mashed lentils and apply as a mask to your hands. Put hands into plastic bags for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water and moisturize.

With any nail routine, be prepared to wait weeks as your nails grow out to see improvement.  Good Luck!
